By learning how to STOP THE BLEED®, you’ll gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding once you learn three quick techniques - compress, compact, tourniquet.  Assessment and treatment of shock included. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a STOP THE BLEED certification. This course is 2 hours.

Through our STOP THE BLEED® and BloodBorne Pathogen Combo course, you’ll gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively.  By learning how to STOP THE BLEED®, you’ll gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding once you learn three quick techniques - compress, compact, tourniquet. The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).  Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. This course is 3.0 hours.
